Gravity locks? Warp drive updates? What a bunch of rubbish that I can't even smile about because you pushed bad software on my tv that causes black screens. How about release something that works instead of all the jokes? I was going to buy another roku tv becuase mine has been great for 5 years but now this is enough to change my mind. Going out to buy another tv today and it won't be a roku. I assume everyone else in the same boat will do the same. Congrats Roku team you lost us!

So I'll give some details. I use the tv everyday connected to everything no problems until the other day I turn it on and I get a black screen no video with the clicking sound only of the menu. I try unplugging power waiting doing remote soft resets and then I do hard resets with the button on the back. It just power cycles back to black screen each time going from the backlight dim black to dark black when off. About 30 minutes later after the hard resets it turns on out of the blue with the menu working I do the new setup email etc.. I notice the roku menu looks different than before. I check updates and yes I received OS 12 on this same day I'm having black screen issues. At this point the tv is working all night with OS 12 no problems I turn it off by remote and go to bed. Next day try to turn it on and it's back to a black screen again no video menu just sound of the remote clicks like before only this time no resets unplug/hard/soft have brought the menu back just a dim black screen that cycles from off black to dim black. The hardware is working the backlight is on it worked for awhile but now it's just all black screens again. Note I unplugged all devices when doing these resets. It appears obvious the OS update is causing the black screens. This OS 12 release should have never been rolled out it basically bricked my TV that was working fine. Is there a way to roll back the OS update via usb? Can updates be done via lan connection without being able to see the menu? Thanks for the response.

Thank you for the deep insight and support. You had a chance to save a multi year repeat roku customer but today I went out an bought a google TV it's miles better the menus and everything move quick unlike roku slow buggy software. Bye forever!
