What is happening? @GDryer,

Thanks for the post,

We appreciate you reaching out to us. We're sure that we will successfully handle your streambar issue.

  • How is your Roku device connected to your TV?
  • What settings are selected on your Roku device? Under Settings > Audio > HDMI

In most cases, this can be fixed by enabling the CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) setting on your TV. CEC, known by various brand names depending on your TV manufacturer, allows commands to be shared between your TV and any connected devices. By enabling this setting, your Roku Smart Soundbar and TV will interact with one another, allowing you to use your TV remote to adjust the volume of the Roku Smart Soundbar or your Roku remote to turn your TV on and off.

You can also find more information regarding enabling CEC here: How to enable HDMI-CEC and ARC on your TV.

Please keep us posted on what you find out, and we will be happy to continue assisting you further. We look forward to hearing back from you.

Regards,

Arjiemar
