Every one of my Rokus offer the enhanced HD option when viewing YoutubeTV, with the exception of the Roku Streambar. Everything I've read elsewhere says it only works on devices that offer 4k, but the Streambar does 4k. Anyone else have this issue?
Welcome to the Roku Community, @Megapixel!
We’re pleased to introduce you to the Roku Streambar, which provides an exceptional 4K streaming experience and premium audio in a single device. Please keep in mind that the ability to utilize 4K HDR functionality depends on whether your Roku TV supports it.
To enhance your viewing experience, we recommend going to Settings > Display Type and selecting 4K HDR, provided your TV supports it. If the issue only occurs on a specific channel, please check the app or channel settings for picture quality, although not all channels or apps offer this feature.
Hope this helps!
Thanks,
Jharra
Yes, it's a 4K LG-OLED 55" C2 model. The display resolution is set to the highest setting on the Roku (4K HDR 60fps), yet, YoutubeTV doesn't display "enhanced HD" the way it does with every other Roku and TV in the house. We have two other LG OLED TV's in the house and they both work just fine. One has a Roku Ultra, the other has a Roku Express 4k+, and it even works on the Streaming Stick + on a couple smaller TVs, just not the Roku Streambar.
