New Roku tv not updating please help

I bought a Hisense Roku tv yesterday. Last night I plugged it in and it came on I did set up the WiFi and all that. It said that it needed a software update so I did that update and the tv just turned off. I couldn’t get it to come back on so I hit the reset button on the back of the t.v. Now it is on a purple screen that keeps saying update failed when trying to update. Is there anything I can do?

If you can connect to your phone's hotspot just to get through the initial update, try that.  You may have to factory reset to get back to the beginning (press and hold the reset button for no less than 30 seconds with the power connected).  You can also try updating from a USB drive.  You need to know the Roku model number (not the TV's model number).  Hopefully you can find it under Settings->System->About if you can get there.
