NEW 43" Roku tv must be restarted every time to connect to wifi

I just got off phone with Roku support over a problem I am having with a new Roku tv.  I found someone posted the same problem which read "About a week ago, my Roku TV stopped automatically connecting to my wifi when turning on. All other home devices are connected fine. I have reset and unplugged my router, and unplugged the tv. When in Network/setup connection menu, the wireless scan with just scan forever and not show me a list of networks. To work around this, I must do a system restart under the power menu every time I turn on the tv. Any suggestions?"

Same thing.  It works fine until you turn it off but will only reconnect with a system restart.  I bought the same tv 2 weeks ago but returned it thinking it was defective.  Got another has same problem.  I called Roku support this morning (horrible).  I have 5 other Roku devices with no issues on any of them.

I thought I saw another post about the problem being identified and an update was coming that would fix, but I think that was dated a while ago.  Any ideas (before I return this one also?)

@Xairboater

Roku Support has indicated they found the issue and will issue a fix in a "future update".

Returning your RokuTV will likely not address the issue.  Just need to wait for the update/fix as they did not even provide an expected release date for the fix.

And you are correct - the Roku devices are not experiencing this bug.  Another reason in my opinion to forgo the RokuTV and just stick with the separate Roku devices.
