I don't know if I'm at the right place. I was reading about an infernal recovery mode loop that nobody seemed able to recover from but everyone kept mentioning a streambar.
Is the Roku TV called a streambar? If not then I'm most likely in the correct spot.
K, here's the problem: I'm stuck in recovery mode. I go from select language, to connect to internet, to chose network, to enter password for network, to connected/up date now, toprogress% and restart. Screen goes black pops back on gray with onn.Roku TV. Goes black then back to onn.Roku TV then to select language.
So what have I done? Pulled power cord. Have held reset in till TV went from black screen back to recovery mode all on its own. I have even held the button on the bottom of the TV while indenting the reset.
So there is one thing I have noticed and the white LED does not come on anymore. There is a red LED and it comes on and does a couple winky-blinks and turns off when TV enters the unrecoverable recovery mode loop. And, this has me thinking that this TV just might have a component issue.
So here is what I'm working with:
Version-FTC02R01223A,
Serial #XO2000HT7NXL
Device ID- SOSNFOOT7NXL
Roku TV- H303X
Onn model- 100012589
K, that's the stats. Now IF it is a hardware/component issue I will gladly open it up and give it a good probing as I obviously can't hurt it anymore than it already is.
Oh and one more thing before I close this. There are no on or off buttons, more are there any volume controls around the edge of this TV. Everything is controlled by thr r-mote and it has fresh batteries.
Well thanks for reading and sorry if anyone feels like their brain has been dragged through glass but I'm at my wits end and am ready to open this TV up and see what makes it tic.
Thank you Michael59
