Re: My Roku TV will not system update.

Do you have "Software update" under Settings->System?

You can also update a Roku TV via a USB drive:  Roku | TV USB Updater

Re: My Roku TV will not system update.

Hi @Jkhaff,

Thanks for posting in the Roku Community!

We understand that you're having a problem with your Roku TV since it will not update the software and you can't play the Max app. Help is here. Can you try to manually check for updates by going to settings>system>system update>check now? Try to see if you can update to the latest software.

You can also look at this link: How to update the software on your Roku TV or Roku streaming player

If the problem still persists, please keep us posted on what you find out.

Best regards,

John

Re: My Roku TV will not system update.

Hi @Cathey,

A warm welcome to the Roku Community!

Thanks for letting us know about this kind of behavior you have encountered. We certainly want to help you with this. We recommend doing a system restart to enable an optimized interface. To do this, go to Settings > System > System Restart. After this, kindly check and see if you can update your Roku device.

Keep us posted and let us know how it works!

All the best,
Kash
