Model 58r6+ isn't recognizing my Sony DVD player model bdp-s6700
I have changed ports, got a new HDMI cable, unplugged/plugged up, done everything I have read/watched for troubleshooting. All I get is "no signal (is it on?) And yes it is on. Both tv and player were bought in the last year at different times. What am I missing or what else can I try? Are they compatible?

I believe that's a Hisense TV. When I searched for the model number one of the first links that popped up was from someone that couldn't get anything to work in the HDMI ports. Have you tried contacting Hisense?
