Same problem here. I too will watch and see if a viable solution comes about as I have tried the ones provided here, to no avail.

I know this is an old post but yes all my Hesense tvs yes all 3 of mine does that. The best advice I can give and it sucks because you have to reinstall all your apps is a factory reset. I can tell you this I'm never buying a Hesense again if your only to get a couple of years before it acts up. My fire tv has never freeze up and restarts but can't watch Spectrum TV on a fire TV without going through another device.
Factory reset is only fix and that still will act up a few months later. That's how I fix Hesense Ruku TVs all 3 of mine.
Hi @FoxyRubym,
Thanks for the first post to the Roku Community!
We understand that you are having issues similar to those of users who reported with Hisense Roku TV, which lags and crashes on most channels.
It's great to hear that the matter has been resolved. We express our gratitude for your effort and understanding in resolving the issue.
If you have any other questions or concerns, please let us know.
All the best,
Chel
Not resolved just postponing having to buy new TVs. It's a pain in the Rumpus to have to reinstall every app and re-login into every app. Sooner or later I know the TV will stop working all together.
Thanks for the response, and we're sorry for the misunderstanding, @FoxyRuby.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work hard to resolve the issue.
All the best,
Chel
They are never gonna fix it. I’ve been waiting for almost 2 years. For less than $40 you can buy, for example, a TIVO 4K little streaming device that plugs Into HDMI. Then, you go to the Hisense Settings and choose to have the TIVO/HDMI as your automatic start up. Other than occasional little glitches with the TV volume (which existed before) there are zero problems. The issue is clearly with the Hisense/Roku combo and the people with those entities seem unable to come up with a fix. Bypass.
I’m glad I came across this thread, just started having issues with the Discovery+ app, the moment it tries to load, it crashes to the home screen, and this is because of using a Hisense Roku tv. Our other Roku TVs from TCL and Sharp do not have this problem at all. This is CLEARLY a Hisense/ROKU problem and only roku can choose to fix it because they are the ones pushing out the updates. I know they push out updates because once every couple months there is a system update but clearly it’s not to fix anything 😔
