Hisense Roku TV updates keep changing my settings
Everytime Roku sends out an update changes get made to my settings. Never same issue. Once was sound, once was screensaver, another time was picture settings. Now it turned on faststart and screen off time. Why do you keep forcing add ons to my Home Screen and messing up my settings. Do I just need to prevent updates! I have "MY" tv setup as I want it and there should not be these changes. This has continued for a year now. Once, okay, twice, annoying, but 4 times now, and I'm mad.

Re: Hisense Roku TV updates keep changing my settings
All info is already in original message. As to problem... as I can tell, every update adds unwanted items to Home Screen. Each update alters a setting of some kind, usually discovered within a day of update. This all started in 2024 with Roku's new updates and change in business model. So, I cheated and made a quick flash for my all my devices to stop this problem since I noticed it happening on all my Roku devices. Now I just use my quick flash to correct the problem. Thanks so much for the programming back door. I hope you never close it. I enjoy my devices and am fortunate enough to have found a solution, but I am sure most folks are as annoyed by it as myself.
