My Mother-in-law bought a TV to me in Mexico. And when I installed the TV and created an account, I was going to check out some apps.

First: Why s there no search bar?

Second: In the TV box, it says Disney Plus, which means I should expect to see Disney Plus, right? But there is no Disney Plus. Not even HBO Max!

Why is that?

Is Disney Plus and HBO Max not available in México? 

If that's the case, why does it say it on the TV box?

You can't go by the box if the TV came from outside of your region.  However, both of those are available in Mexico assuming you created a Roku account in Mexico.  If you're not seeing those then it's possible that when you created the account it wasn't created as a Mexico account.  I would suggest starting over with a factory reset and a new account.  Make sure you clear your browser cookies or use a private/incognito browser window to ensure there's no leftover data saved by your browser that could interfere.  You may want to close your current account as well.  Hopefully these links work:

As for the search, you should have that as well:

"Roku Search is available in English in Canada, Ireland, the United Kingdom, and the United States, and in Spanish in Mexico and the United States"

I got it to work. I created a new account in a clean browser with my Cell Phone. Last time, I created my profile on the TV.

So now I can search, add to my list. And Disney Plus and HBO Max are available. 😊
