DIY help for remote repair!

The “down arrow” button no longer cause a down motion when pressed. I took the remote apart and I find a membrane keyboard and the conductive coating has worn off on that part of the membrane!

What can I use to restore that graphite-like conductive coating on the membrane?

Thanks to all that reply!

Re: DIY help for remote repair!

I have used a dot of aluminum foil and a drop of super glue.  It's not the best solution since the foil will sometimes/eventually fall off and cause problems.

You can use cigarette base paper with glue to work properly.
