Second reply. Did factory reset. After that tried to "Activate Device" after entering my email address. After two frames Roku "froze" and would not let me complete setting up the account. RokuTV unit is being returned. However it is obvious at this point it's a Roku software problem not the hardware unit. Most of all, specifically because there is no way to obtain any tech support from Roku, I will not be proceeding in any other fashion with any Roku product. Thanks all for trying to help but I do not need this nonsense in my life.

You need to call onn tv at 1-844-334-2355.
Call both Onn and Roku then.
Onn has so far not responded. The tv unit is on its way to be returned. Done with RokuTV and done with Roku specifically because there's no tech support available.
