Re: Are the stands supposed to be loose
You said it accurately. They are the masters of avoidance. Ridiculous.

Re: Are the stands supposed to be loose
Thank you@BipBop13 At first I was reluctant to do this as it's all cheap plastic, but it's the only way to get it to work. When doing it, be very careful not to strip the philips head. But if u can do it w/out stripping or breaking said cheap plastic, putting it in as far as it feels you can, pulling it out once or twice and then trying again seemed to fix this issue.
NO THANKS TO ROKU..
THIS CANNOT BE THE FIRST LOOK ROKU WANTS TO SHOW ITS NEW CUSTOMERS.

Re: Are the stands supposed to be loose
Which universal stand did you purchase?? It is confusing to me!! Was it the stand that looks like an "X" or the stand with the 2 long pieces running vertical

Re: Are the stands supposed to be loose
What worked for me was to take just the screws, and screw them in to the base of the TV. When they had fully tightened up, I took them back out, placed the leg in and then put the screws in again. It worked, and the legs are nice & tight. Sometimes instructions are too vague, and a little Maine ingenuity & imagination helps make it all right.

Re: Are the stands supposed to be loose
It looks like everyone is having the same issue with these screws and stands. Has there been any resolution to this issue? What is everyone doing? We just bought this tv and are having the same issue.

Re: Are the stands supposed to be loose
I tried this and couldn't get the screws in even without the legs on and just trying to put on the screws alone. Any other suggestions? Can we use a power drill or would that break the tv?

Re: Are the stands supposed to be loose
You need to take screws out ok and then go ahead and screw back in . It will fix itself by doing this !!
