43" Hisense Roku TV Hulu keeps stopping
My very new Hisense 43" TV keeps stopping in Hulu. It will say error we are having trouble playing this. I can go out and back in, no change. Power off and back on, no change. All other apps work fine. The only solution is to power down and unplug from wall for about a minute. Plug back in and power on and it will work fine for about 24 hours then have to do it again. What gives? It just started doing this. I've even deleted the Hulu app and reinstalled it...same thing.

Re: 43" Hisense Roku TV Hulu keeps stopping
I don't really have a good solution, but two things you should keep in mind:
- Turning the TV off and on doesn't really do anything. You shouldn't need to unplug the power, just perform a "System restart" found under Settings->System->Power
- Similarly, uninstalling and immediately installing an app doesn't really accomplish anything. To remove all stored data for an app you must perform the "System restart" after you uninstall it and before you reinstall it.

Re: 43" Hisense Roku TV Hulu keeps stopping
I tried the system restart and it didn't work. I still had to unplug and plug in to get it to work. I'm about to reset the TV and configure it as a dumb TV and just hook my Roku ultra box to it and be done with it. I only got a smart Roku TV because the cost was less for it than for a plain dumb TV.

@greggyc71, to be honest, that's how I use my Roku TVs and my Samsung "smart" TV that I absolutely hate. The next time I buy a TV I'll likely pay extra to not have a "smart" TV.
