Why is this not a feature? Before in my basement office and my dart area in the basement I used an HDMI splitter to run a Roku ultra to two tv's. Now that I moved my office to the main floor I would like to stream in my office and living room, the splitter is not an option.
So other then say, using the HBO app and starting a stream of the same show on both tv's and manually syncing by getting a bit ahead the pausing and unpausing until they match, but if you are watching a series you have to do it on each episode. That sucks, there should be a setting to do this within the device. I think there are a lot of us that would really like this feature. It's been a few years since this thread was started, why no answer from Roku? Maybe we just need to find something that works this way and switch to that?
looking for a wireless solution and willing to purchase 3rd party hardware to make it happen.
Same issue, can Roku suggest other hardware either from Roku or different vendor to sync 3 of their TVs. I have 4 Roku Tvs and a couple of just devices.
I did get an HDMI splitter (1 in -4 out) then used a Roku stick to sync but I really need a wireless solution.
Now with NFL Ticket on YouTubeTV they really need to provide a solution. Roku be the first to fix this sync issue. When I used DirecTV for NFL Ticket I didn't have this issue. Does anyone know if another streaming device has a solved for this problem (Chromecast, AppleTV, Etc...) ? Solution: Make one device the primary device, and have the other Roku devices link to it, one TV pauses they all pause.
This would be a great feature!!!!!
Hi @community users,
Thank you for your suggestions!
Please be advised that we don't have that feature for syncing multiple Roku devices or TVs. We always aim to provide our customers with the best streaming experience and convenience in using our services. Thank you so much for your feedback, and we value your input.
