“add app” button greyed out
I got a roku box for uni and for some reason I cant add disney plus or amazon prime video. I can add other apps but for others I cant. when I go to the streaming store on the website the “add app” buttons on most (if not all) the apps are greyed out. I have seen others say that this is because the app isn’t available in my region however at home we have roku boxes in both my room, my sisters room, my parents room and in the living room and they all have disney plus and amazon prime on them. so I guess my question is if I cant add them is it possible to change my region to somewhere that does allow them?

That generally happens when your Roku account isn't associated with your region because it was created in a different region or while using a VPN or something else that masks the true location, although it can happen through no fault of the user. There's no way to change the region. A new account has to be created, the device has to be factory reset, and linked to the new account.
