Viki Rakuten stuck loading for playback

Hello,

 

My Viki Rakuten app will open but the moment I select a video to resume or start new, it gets stuck loading infinitely.

 

I already used * to Remove App, then restarted my Roku TV, then reinstalled the Viki app via the store. I have done this troubleshooting multiple times but still nothing.

 

I also initiated a issue report tracker. Details are below.

We appreciate you fr sharing with us the issue you have encountered with the Viki Rakuten app that opens but won't play any content. This seems like a content issue since the app opens as expected, but won't load any video.

For this matter, we recommend that you contact the channel provider and let them know about your experience with their app. It is important to note that the majority of channels available on Roku are developed and maintained by the respective channel providers. They may offer a potential workaround or indicate whether an update to their application on the Roku platform is required.

If you have "Settings > System > Power > Fast TV Start" enabled on your TV and you restart the set by turning it off and back on, you don't get a full reset.  Instead try resetting via "Settings > System > Power > System restart" or just pull the power plug for a few seconds.
