I solved the problem on my system. I noticed this was only happening on my 32 " Samsung in the sunroom and not my new large expensive Sony sets in the Den and Master Bedroom. It turns out the HDR support on this particular TV Is iffy at best. I turned off the HDR option on the Roku settings and that instantly fixed the problem, I could watch any show on Hulu including the ones that gave me the odd error.
