You haven't said which app you're using. Hulu? Pluto TV? Roku Channel? Xumo? Tubi? Plex? Filmrise? Fawesome? Red Box? YouTube? Or one of the hundreds of other free ad-supported television (FAST) apps?
The solution is to probably find another FAST service that has fewer commercials (they are all pretty much the same, by the way) or opt for a paid service.
