I gave up in the end, bought a travel vpn box for under £20. Put my vpn on it, now I my connection is based in America rather than using a vpn that looks based in America, and can be blocked.
All for 1 channel, but its all I watch.
Roku didn't help, the TV show didn't respond . But what I have works.

I cannot play anything on this Roku app. I have clear cache, data, restarted fire stick, uninstalled app and did a reinstall. NEXT DELETING if someone doesn't fix soon. Just saying.
