TV series Continuum is missing episodes

Anybody know how to notify the company and get the missing episodes on the playlist? That's S1, Ep 2 and S4, Ep6.

Re: TV series Continuum is missing episodes

What app/channel are you using to view this series? If it's The Roku Channel, be aware the content owners don't always license Roku (or other providers) to provide every episode or even every season. The content owners have complete control over what they will allow.

If it's using some other channel/app, you would need to contact that provider, although the answer might well be the same as above.

Re: TV series Continuum is missing episodes

If the 'content owners' won't make every episode available then it's completely pointless. Especially when there are missing episodes in the first season, how are you supposed to follow the story?

You can't just blame this on the studios. There should be certain standards that must be adhered to set by streaming companies. If the studios are not willing to make every episode of a show available to stream then that series shouldn't be allowed on the platform at all. Just like it would be unacceptable to have half a movie and then it's cut off because the 'content providers' chose not to provide the ending.

This is ridiculous and it's not specific to the Roku app either, Hulu, Netflix and many other streamers have had missing episodes for shows going back years. It should never be allowed to happen, either provide the entire show or not at all, because if you don't have it all it's a waste of time with missing episodes.

This is basic common sense! Something studios and streamers clearly don't have, or they simply don't care about the user experience, just their revenue. My advice is make sure whatever you are watching has all episodes before you waste your time beginning to watch it, only to find out later you can't see every episode.

All shows with any missing episodes should be boycotted! On whichever app/company they are streaming.

Re: TV series Continuum is missing episodes

Absolutely you have to blame the content owners (probably a studio somewhere). They decide they don't want to make content available. Perhaps to drive people to buy the DVD package instead. Perhaps simply to boost the "chatter" about the media, such as this thread is doing. That could make the price go up for more content. We have no idea how these negotiations are conducted, but the content owners have all the power here.
