Re: Starz says to many devices..

I too am having the same issue. I have deleted the devices connected and it shows only one connected, my tv, but when I go to watch staz it says Maximum Devices Reached. Please advise

Re: Starz says to many devices..

@troyeh49 Try doing a system restart in the settings as there may be something in the cache that is causing the issue.

Re: Starz says to many devices..

Have did an app restart and just did a system restart. Still the same. Noticed on the ROKU search that there is a Starz and a Starz for ROKU the Starz app has a check mark and is on my home page and can not be removed and the Starz for roku app can not be put on my home page. When I choose the Starz app it says to many devices and the Staz for Roku app says I have a subscription but wants me to buy Starz when I chose a movie. On the Starz for Roku I can't play any shows except Outlander? I also Delete the Starz app from my Samsung TV just incase it was interfering with it. And Starz was purchased through ROKU.

Please advise

Re: Starz says to many devices..

@troyeh49, the standalone Starz app and "Starz on RokuChannel" have different and mutually exclusive subscriptions.  It sounds like you have a subscription for the standalone app paid through Roku.  I don't know if it will work, but can you try the "Forgot password" option on the Starz website?  https://www.starz.com/us/en/login

For the email address, use the one associated with your Roku account that you can see displayed under Settings->System->About.  Maybe if you can log into their website you can see what's going on.

Another thing to check is the devices linked to your Roku account that you can see at https://my.roku.com.  Remove any devices that you don't recognize.

This is one of those cases that reinforces the belief that many of us here have that you should never subscribe to anything through a third party like Roku, Apple, Amazon, etc.  They'll probably just point the finger at each other.

@troyeh49 I am glad you have it working.  However I am a little concerned that you found 8 devices logged into your account.  Did you recognize all of these devices?  If not I would change my password.

Re: Starz says to many devices..

They were unknown devices, figured since I tried with tv, computer, table and cell phone it was me, but have change my password now. Thanks
