After uninstalling and reinstalling the Spectrum app, logging in and out of both Spectrum and Roku, checking for updates nothing the app continued to not work. Then I unplugged the modem and router, left them off a few minutes, plugged both back in and wa la, the app started working again. Don’t ask me why.
I switched to my hotspot on my phone for my Roku tv and the app started working on channels it wasn’t before when connected to home internet. Seems like a spectrum issue
My Roku TV has app version 12.4 released just in the past couple of days. "Unable to Complete Request" error when trying to watch Live TV. I've reinstalled the app. Nothing. I'm getting 80Mbps on the TV self network test, more than enough for TV. But then I've had their DVR cable boxes die left and right too. Awful cable service. If it weren't for my elderly mom watching cable, I'd get rid of it.
I found the solution on the Spectrum forum. I found my cell phone worked on cell but not Wi-Fi. The solution is to reset the cable modem. Apparently, it can lose sync to the cable network ID somehow. A reset resyncs it. Or at least that's what I read. It worked for both my phone app and the Roku TV App.

It absolutely WAS a cable modem sync issue for me and others as it solved our problem just as I discovered it on another site. Just because YOUR problem is different doesn't mean it it's not for others!
I'm sharing it to at least try and help other people (more than Roku is doing apparently). I can't read "more carefully" when you weren't specific in the first place.

It also recommends to share this report to the channel support team for any additional assistance. Most of the channels on Roku are managed directly by the channel providers themselves.

This app has failed on 2 of my 4 TVs ROKU devices. This is the main reason I bought these . This happens all the time and usually a reset works. Not this time. The ROKU Express 4K+ is the two devices that have failed. The ROKU sticks still work fine so no, it’s not my router!!!!! It’s the device and the app. Really getting sick of this!
