I called Hulu today and the agent acted like I had no idea what I was talking about. That I instead needed to adjust my tv screen brightness. So after spending 40 mins. with the star button to vivid and it worked till the next advertisement. Her advice was to reset it to vivid again.
I am not doing that over and over to watch a show. This is bs.
You got a classic incompetent unknowledgeable tier 1 support person - you'll need to be persistent and try again to report it.

Yeah mine is still doing it. And they tried to get me to clear the cache and reset my entire tv and I know resetting my tv won’t help because I’ve already done it.
It’s a roku problem not a Hulu because my Samsung tv works fine with hulu
No, its a Hulu app on Roku problem - which Hulu designs/codes/develops and publishes.
The Roku platform isnt the Tizen or Android TV platform, so an app working/not working on one platform has no bearing on the app on other platforms.
You gotta contact Hulu - its their app, their problem, their fix.
