I want to install Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ to my TV, as I have subscriptions to all of these services. The only explanation I have seen as to why I can not install them is that I "am in a region where those are not allowed", and the same thing for why I don't have a search bar, which is not applicable because I am in Ohio in the USA and through my research that IS within the region to have the search bar and these apps. I don't know why on earth this is a problem but does anyone have an idea why this might be happening, or have an idea of how to possibly fix it?
The most likely reason is that your Roku account is associated with the wrong region. There's no way to fix it other than creating a new Roku account, factory resetting your Roku device, and linking to the new account. If you have any subscriptions through Roku (which you can see at https://my.roku.com ), you'll want to cancel them. If you don't have a different email address to use for the new account, close the old account before creating a new account. You should probably close the old account anyway. When you create the new account at https://my.roku.com/signup , you should use a different browser, a different computer, or a private or incognito browser winder to ensure the same wrong region association doesn't happen again.

Another possibility is that you are connecting to the internet through a VPN service that masks your actual location - either now, or when you first set up your account.
You can use an IP info website like the ones listed below to see where the IP indicates you are located.
