I have a number of recordings from my DVR and place-shifting of discs I own, transcoded to HEVC and stored in Matroska containers. Audio and video play with the Roku Media Player, but captions are ignored. Other tools, like MythTV and VLC, play the captions without trouble.
Will the Roku Media Player be updated to handle captions in Matroska containers?
