Since the only way we can contact Roku is through -whatever this chat/board thing is(confusing)- I would like to suggest a few things for the Roku channel app:
* currently pressing the '+' pad does nothing when a VOD is playing. It would be helpful if when we pushed it, the timebar would display and title/episode of show/episode, etc info. The current way to see this info when a video is playing is to hit PAUSE.
* When we click 'more episodes', it always goes to season 1, episode 1 of any given show. Months and months ago it used to go to the season and episode you were about to watch instead at the very top of show episode page. I forget what season/ep I was looking at and have to hit 'back' to show what it was showing and then click more episodes AGAIN just for it to go to season 1 episode 1 and then find my season/episode # whic makes it harder, for example, if Ice Road Truckers has 11 seasons plus the confusingly titled "season 2008" and "season 2016" listed after season 11.
* let us have a thumbs up & thumbs down on a movie/tv show and then remove the item if we choose thumbs down. or a 'don't recomend title' so it will bring up different tv shows or movies.
* an option to stop a movie or tv episode after it plays and not the usual countdown to the next episode and automatically playing. Some of us fall asleep and realise we slept through 2 or more episodes and have to go back and look. Do what Netflix does, let us choose how it plays the next episode of IF it plays the next episode.
* the HUGE thumbnails are annoying - the kind where we hit FF or Rew to go to next page and it only goes, like, ONE thumbnail because it is taking up 1/2 the screen! Make all the thumbnails the same size for every row - the size where we can go 3-4 thumbnails at a time. The HUGE thumbnails are just annoyhing.
*make "watch series premieres for free" and anything with the '$' symbol in the thumbnail on the BOTTOM of homepage. The last things for us to see. I go on your app to see free stuff - the rest I have no interest in. Or let us remove those columns in settings which I doubt you will do because streamers are probably paying you guys to put them on there.
