We'd like to gather more information about the issue you're running into. A few questions here to better understand what you're experiencing: 1. Does the issue only occur on a specific channel or all channels on your Roku device? 2. What troubleshooting steps have you taken so far to try to resolve the issue? Have you removed the channel, restart the device then add the channel back? 3. What are you seeing on screen? Can you provide a screenshot of the issue you are experiencing? 4. May we ask where are you accessing the channel? Though The Roku Channel or directly to the channel?
We had no problem with Acorn on our previous roku streaming stick for our TV, but we recently bought the 4k roku streaming stick & that's when the problem started. It won't resume an episode, it just starts over from the beginning. We didn't have this problem on our old roku streaming stick. I've made sure the software is up to date & also removed the channel & re-added it to no avail.
The problem is only with AcornTV app using the Roku We have a Firestick in another room and have no problems at all. We have tried all the suggestions. If we tap resume episode it still starts from the beginning.
Everything you asked is in my original post. I'm accessing AcornTV directly through the channel itself. I'm in contact via email with both Roku support and AcornTV support. I know that Roku had an OS update recently but I'm not sure if that coincides with this issue. I wasn't paying attention.
Direct subscription. Watch on Roku. Version 11 Build 4195-06. Ever since Update the end of January my "Recently Watched" programs cannot be removed. And the red progress bar is stuck. There was just another Update July 20th and now the "Resume" will not work. Every show defaults to the start. As seen in here, even those with Brand NEW Rokus having the same oroblem. I love the shows but they are becoming unwatchable.
