I'm using the Roku Remote app on my Android phone. While in Remote mode, the middle of the three bottom icons is called Channels. When I select Channels, a horizontally scrollable list called Recent Channels appears. I've observed that the order of this list is not affected by the recent selection of an app via the apps appearing on my home screen displayed on the TV with a Roku stick attached. Rather, it is a recent list of apps chosen from the list of Recent Channels itself. If I scroll to the right long enough, I see what appears to be all or most of my apps. The MGM+ app appears on my TV screen via the on-screen roku display near the top along with all my other apps. It does not appear at all in the Recent Channels list on my phone app. I made sure to logon to my Roku account via the phone app even though that isn't necessary to operated the phone app itself. What causes the phone app to learn what apps are available?
Looks like there is a problem with the + because TBN+ does not add to "Recent" either.
When you get through setting this up, leave the screen as is and just press the home button at the bottom and the Roku app will still be displaying the apps you are subscribed to the next time you open the app. Finally found a better way; open Roku app and select "Devices" at bottom and on the next screen select "Apps on Roku" and it will show all apps that you have subscribed to and when you select an app, it will open the arrow keys so you can navigate. When you get done with selection, press the back button at the bottom and it will return to the app display.
