I will stop using Roku and find an alternative if they continue to host Q related lies that violate their own policies & standards.  They're supporting terrorists.

I'm also here to say that I'm disappointed in Roku allowing this sort of dangerous misinformation on its platform. I expect better from Roku. I've been a devoted Roku user for years, but have no issue moving on if Roku can't bring itself to be a responsible member of the community.

I could say the same thing about CNN, ABC, CBS, Netflix, Disney+, etc. Thats my opinion, and its just as important and just as worthless as yours. YOU have a choice to watch whatever you want. I have that same choice. You do NOT have the right to determine what is or is not "right" on someone else's behalf any more than I do. It's called freedom. Your opinion does not mean any more than anyone else's, regardless of what you may think. You do NOT have the right to silence creativity, expression or opinion. This channel is not causing you any harm, so just ignore it. You're not being forced to watch it.

You are mistaken. First of all, Roku states its standards rules. Its standards forbid misinformation (Burrow is 100% misinformation.) Second, there are laws against terrorist threats. Terrorist threats are found in Qanon. Third, it has been established in court that there are legal limits to free speech, eg you don't show fire in a crowded theater when there's no fire, as you put lives at risk by doing it. Qanon spreads vaccine misinformation that leads to some people deciding not to get vaccinated which could led to them dying needlessly from diseases (and this has happened in many cases). Some of the violence of Jan 6 at the Capitol was due to Qanon misinformation. Qanon has also inspired other violent acts. Finally, ROKU is a private company, it has the right, and the option, of hosting or not hosting misinformation channels. It should do the ethical thing and not allow these liars on Roku.

No, actually I am not mistaken and you made my point for me. I am very aware of what Qanon does and doesn't do. I choose not to watch the channel, but thats my choice. I am not trying to be the morality police for others. Your definition of "ethical" and right or wrong is yours alone, as is your opinion on whether this channel violates Roku's terms. Obviously Roku, a private company as you stated, disagrees with you and that's perfectly ok. Again, you have a personal opinion and choice and thats awesome. Just don't act like its ok to thrust your choice and opinions on others and make their decisions for them. I am making an assumption that you might be irritated if I advocated pulling Netflix or Disney+ off of Roku because I am offended at some of their content. How is one right and the other wrong? Answer: they are both wrong. Let people make up their own minds.
