Same problem trying to watch the Giants over the weekend & the Sharks right now on NBCSportsBayArea & NBCSportsCalifornia.
As this has been going on for more than a month, your "working diligently" doesn't say much your competency.

Honestly! How do you still ask what channel? Are you even reading this thread? It's NBC SPORTS!!!!!!!
I just called the local NBC 10 consumer complaints line at 215-201-5310 and complained that we Phillies fans from Verizon can’t watch our team. Call and do the same. We used to be able to watch live Phillies games and now we can’t because if this error and this is unacceptable.
I've worked with software developers in my past. When there is an issue like this that is affecting everyone all over the country in the same manner it has nothing to do with our equipment, the only thing that we can tell you that is relevant is the version number of the app were using.
now I'm also wondering, whose developers are responsible these apps? Is it just the vendor, like NBC Sports, or is it you, Roku, or both?
please remember this has nothing to do with Verizon. It is solely in NBC Sports and Roku's hands.
I had an issue with ESPN as well through my Roku. It would not let me watch Lakers Clippers by logging in with my TV provider, saying I was blacked out (I do not live in the local market). Logged in through my phone ESPN app with directv credentials and casted it to the tv no problem. THIS IS ON ROKU. FIGURE IT OUT!!!!

@RokuDanny-R I am still receiving the cloud message error! I checked the app for updates and saw none. I re-linked my cable provider and that did not work. I also remove the app and re-downloaded it and nothing changed. Please come up with a REAL solution. The phills play at 3pm today, would love to see it! If people are still experiencing the SAME problem. Post!!!!
As always, the NBC sports app works perfectly fine on my phone and amazon tv.
