Same issue here daily. Happens only on Max app and Roku Tv and TV with Roku Sound bar. Get it fixed people. It’s very annoying!

And today max support sent this which make NO sense there is no setting on Roku like this

Can you please check your device settings to make sure you are not being signed out the app automatically? Here are the steps:
  1. Press "Home" on your Roku remote
  2. Navigate to settings
  3. Select System
  4. Select User Accounts
  5. Find the account you want to change and uncheck "Remember sign-in information"

@HisSvt2, I think that's just one more indication that MAX doesn't have a clue what they're doing.

Same issue almost daily. Might cancel our HBO Max account until they figure this out. It's almost unusable like this.

Update: This issue has been addressed to our Roku-appropriate team. We would like you to perform a software update on your Roku devices and let us know your latest software version.

Please follow the steps below:

  1. Press Home on your Roku remote
  2. Scroll and select Settings
  3. Select System
  4. Select Software update
  5. Select Check Now to manually check for updates

MAX - have to login every time

This only affects the Max app and doesn’t matter what tv in our house we watch from. I have to login every single time. Very frustrating app version 58.2, no updates available. My subscription is free with ads through Instacart if that makes a difference. Roku software version 14.1.4 build 7709

Same issue here. Made a post today with all that information. Have already tried system reboot, updates, etc.

We understand that you are still having an issue with the Max channel. Please provide us with the following details below so that we can coordinate this with our Roku-appropriate team.

  • Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and OS version. (this can all be found in Settings > System > About)
  • Tracker ID (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times, and provide us with this ID)
  • Channel build version (this can be found by selecting the channel on the Home screen and pressing the * button).
