Same issue here daily. Happens only on Max app and Roku Tv and TV with Roku Sound bar. Get it fixed people. It’s very annoying!
And today max support sent this which make NO sense there is no setting on Roku like this
@HisSvt2, I think that's just one more indication that MAX doesn't have a clue what they're doing.
Same issue almost daily. Might cancel our HBO Max account until they figure this out. It's almost unusable like this.

This only affects the Max app and doesn’t matter what tv in our house we watch from. I have to login every single time. Very frustrating app version 58.2, no updates available. My subscription is free with ads through Instacart if that makes a difference. Roku software version 14.1.4 build 7709
