We are having the same issue. If we watch Max in the living room we have to log in, then when go to the bedroom have to log in again, every time. It is getting extremely annoying
Yeah I moved my 24 Ultra to my bedroom and bought a new Apple TV 4K for my movie room and it stays signed into everything and is ridiculously faster than the 24 Ultra and no ads , this may have me selling of all my Rokus between the app issues and slowness and the ads might be time to cash out honestly.

Chiming in. This is now happening to my household as of yesterday, Dec 17th 2024. I've been using Max on Roku for as long as Max has been a Roku app and we've never had this issue until yesterday. Most of the folks who use the Roku Max account in my household are elderly and this is a pretty big hurdle for them to being able to enjoy the service. Hoping this info can be passed along to the dev team; looks like it's impacting a lot of folks.

To everyone replying in here I have given so much info to MAX and Roku .
Here’s the problem!
Roku devices and TVs don’t create a unique identifier so to the Max servers they look like ONE device which is why they keep switching logging each other out!
look at this picture notice each machine I have signed in and how you see only ONE Roku. I have 6 in my house ! Notice how the other devices if more than one have a unique identifier.
this WHOLE issue is caused by MAX new device and service sharing crackdown and the fact Rokus don’t identify uniquely
