I liked using my Roku device, because of the simplicity and the clean look, but right now I'm using Amazon Fire TV stick all because of one TV network Roku does not have... CITYTV in Canada... If Roku ever gets CITYTV... I will destroy the Fire Stick, but until then, I'm stuck with it all because of one app.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and we value your feedback as our valued customer. We can certainly understand you are inquiring about the CityTV channel on Roku.
We don't have any information to share at the moment when will the channel be available on Roku. The channel is managed and developed by its channel publisher. We suggest you reach out to them to let them know you want their streams available on Roku.
Please let us know if there's anything else we can help you with.
Best regards,
Mary
It's not readily apparent to most that each channel provider creates, provides to Roku, and maintains the specific Roku-compatible version of their app that runs on the Roku system. Roku just provides the platform on which it runs.
If you want to view CITYTV on your Roku, you need to convince them to create a Roku-compatible channel app and make it available.

I only have internet and stream everything, I have emailed CITYTV several times and have never heard anything back and there are about 10 shows that I watch on a regular basis... Maybe if Roku 'pushed' them, they might do something... It did take Roku quite a while to get CTV
