How can I tell whether my account is "associated with Canada"? And if I create a new account and factory reset my device, will it remember anything about things I've watched or what channels I have? This seems like an extreme solution.

This is only true if one can access the Canadian version of the page. As I am in the US and accept cookies from Roku, this link takes me to the US version of the page, where there is no listing for CRAVE. I only see unrelated apps Feed the Crave and Crave Keyword ROI for your biz.
At the bottom of the page it shows I have the US version, but the link there lets me choose another version. When I click it, though, my cookies still take me to the US version. I have to load an incognito (Chrome) or private (Firefox) version and then select the page for CA. When I do that, I do see the Crave link, but since my Roku account is US-based I cannot add the channel.
@GraemePerrow- I think this all confirms your account is probably not linked as Canadian.
The only way I know to change your region is to do a factory reset of your Roku, then link it to a new Roku account attached to a different email address. Be sure you do this while connected to a Canadian ISP, and don't use a VPN that could mask your actual location.
Same problem. I saw "make sure you set up new account in the region." I've never left Canada, and no Canadian content is available.
We're grateful to have you here in the Roku Community, @GraemePerrow!
We appreciate you reaching out for support. We're here to find you the best resolution possible.
In this instance, if you create a Roku account on a certain region, it will automatically set its current location. Also, to answer your queries, if you create a new Roku account and factory reset your device, it will set everything to default settings.
Furthermore, the Crave TV app is currently available on the Roku streaming platform. You can visit our official Channel Store website to add it to your channel lineup.
If you can't find the app on your Roku, it is highly recommended to directly reach out to Crave's Customer Support for further assistance and clarification as they are the ones who provided, maintained, and updated their app on the Roku streaming platform.
Please let us know how it goes. Hope this helps!
Best regards,
Carly
A warm welcome here in the Roku Community, @DKR2!
Thank you for raising your concern.
Before proceeding, may we know if you are trying to access your Live local shows through a specific app or by using an antenna?
Furthermore, we suggest changing your current zip code to see if it will make any difference. Navigate to your Home screen, scroll and select Settings > System > Zip code > OK.
Let us know if this helps and we'll continue assisting you from there.
Best regards,
Carly
Thanks for your response Carly. However I cannot find the Crave channel when searching on the Roku itself, and if I click on the page you linked to (Channel Store website), I get an empty page. There is a Roku menu at the top, then a purple bar with Facebook and YouTube links, then a site map below that. No channels are listed anywhere.

I created a new account, did a factory reset of my device, and logged into the new account, and now I can see the Crave channel. Thanks so much for your help!
As a suggestion, maybe give users the option to change the location of their account? Or at least give Roku support the option to change it.
