I just deleted, restarted the system, and added it back and got it to work. To restart however it’s under power. Hope this helps
Unfortunately it isn't that simple. The app is still not playing video and it's struggling to even sign in. HBO itself is having issues as this is very widespread over the last couple days.

How do you delete HB0 MAX? I tried pushing the * and it won’t give me the option to remove
@Bchickgirl, if you subscribe to a channel/app through Roku the "Remove channel" option will be replaced with "Manage subscription" on the menu that comes up when you press the * button.

I've tried this solution on several different Rokus. It absolutely does NOT resolve the problem.

the problem is with Roku, bcause im in via tablets and phone's.
i finally resolved the problem, i reboot or reset my wifi modem and, wallah! work. Try to r3move the cable power from the modem wifi, wait for 15 sec, and reconnect it.
Now my family and i, we can watch hbomax.
