Don't return your Roku. It's coming from Global. Roku company has contacted Global, but so far no response.
Question for assistance:
when I open the Global channel it will stay open for around 20 seconds and then I’m returned to Rokus’home screen’. (Global will not stay open)
A)I’ve tried to remove and reinstall the channel b) looked for updates c) restarted Roku d) signed out and back in via Shaw Blue Curve TV
The issue is the same using the Roku in my bedroom
All the other apps work fine

I am having the same issue and so are a number of others. There is another link lower with more of the same on it. I got a reply back that it is a Global issue and waiting for them to deal with it.
Don't bother trying to restart/reset etc we can't fix it without a flick of a switch at Global!

We’re in Lethbridge and have the same problem??!!
I am having the same issue. I do not have cable and watch the news on global from the app. The app seems to kick me out after a couple of seconds. for the last couple of days.
Hopefully Roku will get an answer from Global.
