FoxNow app on multiple Roku devices will not play series episodes

For about the last 3-4 weeks I cannot get FOXNow to play any series episodes. I select an episode (any episode of anything) and the FoxNow logo comes on screen, then 2 seconds later the screen goes back to the list of episodes. Doesn't matter what episode of any series I select, the same happens every time.

I can watch FOXNow live channels ok.

All other apps, Netflix, Prime Video, Paramount+, Discovery+ NBC, ABC etc etc all work fine.

I have multiple Roku devices, all do the same on FOXNow only.

I have rebooted everything - router, Roku (multiple), switch, WiFi with no change. All devices, Roku, router etc are running latest firmware.

I have deleted the FOXNow app and reinstalled it - still the same.

Not sure what else I can do...........

Re: FoxNow app on multiple Roku devices will not play series episodes

Hi @jtrembath

Thanks for reaching out.

We apologize to hear about the issue you are seeing with the Fox Now channel. Based on what you've said, it seems that you have tried troubleshooting the issue but have not been able to find a solution.

Did you restart your Roku device before re-installing the channel? That step is crucial when performing troubleshooting. If you haven't tried the suggested order (remove > restart > re-install), we would recommend giving it a shot once again. We also suggest doing the restart from the Settings menu by navigating to Settings > System >  System restart.

If you are still unable to play videos from one channel after attempting the suggestions above, videos from other channels play fine, contact the channel provider's customer support team to report the issue and get help. Channels on Roku are maintained by the channel developer themselves. In this case, there's likely an issue within that specific channel that needs to be addressed with an update from the channel developer.
