Fox Sports, Resourse is not supported by MVPD (Error)

Mine is spectrum. But as I type this I remember my other Roku is using Direct TV. I just tested and it has same error. Just trying to watch Friday night Smackdown in a Sunday afternoon.
The older Roku hasn’t been used in a while but the error was instant. I dont think the cable provider has anything to do with it. Its either the App itself or Roku.
Either way their should be a fix by now.

What’s the deal you let us watch half of the football game and then all of a sudden you shut it off from us with this error and tell us to get in touch with our TV provider. You could at least let us watch the whole football game before you do this, very disappointed

The advice from moderators and community outreach from Roku is dismissive at best.  If this was a FOX issue then ALL the games would have this issue.  If you look at the games that are "MVD Unsupported" you will notice a small lock symbol at the bottom right corner.  Not all games have them.  THIS IS A ROKU ISSUE

Welcome to the Roku Community, @Drucifer!

Thanks for reaching out and for sharing your playback issue within the Fox Sports app on your Roku. Rest assured that we'll help you find the best resolution possible.

In order to narrow down the cause of the issue, we would appreciate it if you could share with us your device details such as follows:

  • Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and current software version. (this can all be found in Settings > System > About)
  • Tracker ID (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times, and provide us with this ID)
  • Channel build version

We'll be looking forward to your response so that we can check this further and provide you with a swift resolution.

Best regards,
Carly
