Yes
Supposedly fixed. I updated and it is NOT fixed. Still Will not load Sling or Amazon.
I don't know if it will help, but try the "clear the cache" routine:
Using your Roku remote, press Home 5 times, Up once, Rewind (<<) twice, and FF (>>) twice.
If you do it correctly, your Roku will restart on its own. Once it does, check for updates from Settings->System->System update.
Report back on the result - good or bad.
The Roku.channel could not be run is the error message I received
Thanks for the post.
When did you check for an update? What are you still seeing and on what channels? Can you provide a screenshot of the issue you are experiencing?
With more information we will be able to assist you further.
Thanks,
Danny
Try the 4 steps listed further up the page/previously.
I unplugged Roku from The back of myTV. When I plugged it back it worked
Same issue here. Roku won't run youtube. But all other channels are working as usual. Seems to be a particular problem with youtube. I have tried all remedies listed here, none work.
@RokuDanny-R RokuDanny-RI got my roku to start working yesterday after system refresh. Turned on today and back to error can't run channel again. Last update was done Sept 15 5:12PM stating most current update.
@StreamerUserI have tried step 1-4. I never ever changed themes. I have been using Roku since Roku 2. My 3900 worked perfectly up until Monday. This really is frustrating. Never anything like this with Roku before. It is really shaken my confidence. I beginning to feel like they are pulling an Apple to get people to upgrade.
