I work for an IVF Medical practice, and we regularly have gentlement visit our office to produce 'samples', which are then used as part of the IVF process.
Until recently, we were able to use our Roku to view an adult channel for them. It was a private channel, but there was a way to run that through the Roku for our clients.
Not long ago, Roku apparently shut off access to private channels like this. We're trying to find out if there's a way to restore this access, or failing that, some alternate way of presenting a channel with menus and choices for our patients.
Can anyone offer assistance here?
Thanks
Hi @geneobrien,
Thanks for your first post in the Roku Community!
Please be aware that If you can no longer find the channel in the Roku Channel Store or the access code no longer works, the channel may no longer be available on the Roku platform.
Note: If you subscribed to or purchased content on a channel that is no longer available on your Roku device, you can contact the content provider for more information.
For more information about why a channel is longer available on a Roku device, visit our Support page here: Why is a channel no longer available on my Roku® streaming device? | Official Roku Support
Please let us know if there's anything else we can help you with.
Best regards,
Mary

You could always use Roku Media Player with your own collection of videos on a flash drive or NAS with DLNA server.
Thanks, yes, we could do it that way, but that requires too much effort for the end user. We're really looking to hand them the remote and let them quickly and easily find what they want so they can do their business. Kind of like a "Netflix of porn", with menus and easy ways to get in.
The Roku solution, combined with the adult solution we subscribed to, was perfect for this. I'm really hoping we can find some other workable answer for this.
thanks all.
Hey, you can use a webcasting browser app. And go online to a free site . And stream a playlist from the sites.
Roku has webcast browser apps on them you just have to either scan the QR code or go to the apple or Google play app stores. Google play store mostly likely are the best way.
#xcast, #castify, #webcaster, #rokify, #Rokucast, #Rcast
They work and there are a lot of free sites you can access to assist your patients.
