Hey Roku! I'd like to provide feedback to the people who put the commercials in shows.  TV shows have built-in breaks for ads, and they have scenes that should not be interrupted (action scenes, deep conversations, etc.).  Is there anything you  can do to put the commercials in better places? This is terribly annoying.

If you would like to enjoy uninterrupted playback without commercials, you can purchase a subscription to an app that offers an ad-free experience. This way, you can immerse yourself in your favorite content without any distractions.

Most of the ad-supported content on The Roku Channel is obtained from other sources, with ads, or spaces in which Roku can insert its own ads, already inserted into the programming.  Roku cannot control when in the program these ads are placed.  The placement, and number, of these commercials can be quite irritating.

I've found the free ad-supported Tubi app to have fewer, and shorter, commercial interruptions than most other ad-supported sources available on the Roku system.

Roku response is total BS. I never used to encounter this issue in the past and have been exclusively streaming on Roku for nearly three years. Almost every show breaks for commercial in the middle of the opening scene, maybe 20 seconds in. So annoying that I'm thinking about going back to reading books. 😉
