I’ve tried all the advice from the forum and Roku, however Channel 4 still won’t load. I’ve been onto Channel 4 and they say it’s nothing to do with them it’s a Roku issue. Where do I go from here????
Well this is disappointing but not a surprise. No answer from Roku and no point of contact for help. It’s all self help and that is no help. Looks like I will have to remove the Roku stick and buy another product such as an Amazon Fire stick.
Thanks for the post.
Can you please clarify the issue you are experiencing? How are you accessing Channel 4? What are the steps to reproduce the issue you are seeing? What troubleshooting steps have you already taken to try to resolve the issue?
With more detailed information, we will be able to assist you further.
Thanks,
Danny
Hi Danny
Thank you for the reply.
I think my original post has answered most of your questions. Yes I have followed the correct procedure in removing and reinstalling the C4 app (several times).
As for what happens to the C4 app...when I click on it with the Roku controller, it looks to load but then goes straight back to the home screen.
I hope you can help with this as I've been enjoying the Roku experience and would like to carry on using it.
Regards
Dale
Anything further Danny?
Thanks for the follow up.
If the issue remains unresolved, I'd recommend reaching out to C4 directly to report the issue and request additional support. Many channels on the Roku platform are developed and maintained by the channel provider directly, and they'll be able to best assist. If other channels are working correctly, and you only experience this issue on the C4 channel (app), that is likely an indication that the issue lies within that particular channel. In these cases, the channel provider will need to investigate the issue in order to help resolve it.
Thanks,
Danny
Thank you once again for your reply, but like many of these forums no one really answers the question or gives any REAL help.
If you read the initial post I made you will see that YOU have asked me questions, I have already addressed, in both of your standard company replies.
I have been on to C4 and they say it's Roku. Roku say it's C4. It's like pass the parcel. In the mean time we cannot use C4.
I do hope you are not getting paid for writing replies.
