The description says "SERVICE MAY REQUIRE ADDITIONAL FEES" which usually means you have to subscribe to a service.
You said you "paid for the game" meaning that you have a subscription? Do you see it on your Roku Subscriptions page? If so, and the game doesn't work, you should work with @Jeremiah-Roku or one of the other billing representatives. Although they will probably suggest you contact the PlayWorks Digital developers. They will be the ones to give you proper advice, however.

We'd like to take a closer look to see if there's anything else we can suggest to help. Have you tried removing the channel, restarting your device from Settings>System>System restart, then once it loads up again, add the channel back once more to see if that clears things up?
