CTV App not Playing Shows/Movies

Jump to solution

When I choose something to watch it just gives me a spinning circle and has a statement starting with "Empty page view....."  If I choose something from continue watching it works and if I try to open a movie via the app on my phone it works.  I have deleted the app, done a system reboot, and reinstalled with no luck.

Hi, @Brandee3874

Thanks for posting, and welcome to the Roku Community.

We understand the issue you have encountered with the CTV app not playing any content and acknowledge the steps you have taken in an attempt to resolve the issue.

It is advisable to contact the channel provider's support team directly for further assistance. They may offer a potential workaround or indicate whether an update to their application on the Roku platform is required. It is important to note that the majority of channels available on Roku are developed and maintained by the respective channel providers.

For more information, you can reach them at Support - CTV

We hope this will be sorted out soon.

Best wishes,
Kash
