CNN app on Roku not working

Is anyone else having an issue with watching live broadcast on the CNN app? Keep getting the message "This video is unavailable right now. Please try again later." I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app but no difference. This has been going on for 2 days now.

We appreciate your patience regarding this matter. We understand you are having issues with the CNN channel and are here to help.

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try before resorting to reinstalling apps:

  • Check for software updates: Make sure your Roku TV runs on the latest software update. You can check for updates by going to Settings > System > System update > Check now. If there are updates available, follow the instructions to install them.
  • Check your internet connection: Make sure that your Roku TV is connected to a stable and strong internet connection. You can check your internet connection speed by going to Settings > Network > Check connection. If your connection is weak or unstable, try resetting your router or contacting your internet service provider.
  • Clear app cache: Go to Settings > System > Advanced system settings > App > CNN > Clear cache. This will clear any temporary files and data the app stores, which may help resolve the issue.
  • Uninstall and reinstall the app: If clearing the cache doesn't work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the CNN app. To do this, go to Settings > System > Advanced system settings > App > CNN > Remove channel. Then, go to the Roku Channel Store and search for the app to reinstall it.

Furthermore, suppose the troubleshooting steps do not work. In that case, we highly suggest you contact them directly regarding this concern because many channels/apps on Roku are created, maintained, and updated by the channel providers themselves.

Thanks for the reply. I did all the steps which didn't work, but I was able to fix my issue by signing out of my TV provider then signing back in.. problem is now resolved! Thanks again.
