Often my AppleTV app will give me an error “Video Not Available”. Sometimes playing a different show will work sometimes it won’t. Sometimes if i try AirPlaying the show from my iPad to the Roku (which works 99% of the time) then stop AirPlay I can then use the built in AppleTV app to watch the show.
Apple support was no help. Said it could be some issue with “HDMI’ settings but wouldn’t give details.
Any ideas???
I had the "Video Not Available" issue and fixed it by changing the audio settings on the Roku. In Settings>Audio>HDMI, I switched from "Auto detect" to "PCM-Stereo" and the videos started playing fine.
