Thank you for bringing the issue with your Roku device to our attention. We understand that the Apple TV app is not signing in and is unable to connect. We appreciate the troubleshooting you have done to fix the issue. We would like to take a closer look into the issue.

Kindly provide us with the following details below to further investigate the issue:

  • Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and OS version. (this can all be found in Settings > System > About)
  • Tracker ID (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times, and provide us with this ID)
  • Channel build version (highlight the Apple TV app and press the start (*) button of the Roku remote)

(Note: 1st load of channel took a very long time to load)

as others have stated, airplay does not work either.  It prompts for a code but never authenticates

Having the same continually connection problems with Apple tv on my new roku ULTRA LT device.

Not able to sign in, just keeps saying cannot connect. Every other app connects with no problem except Apple tv.
