Muting the verbal descriptions of channels / shows on Phillips Roku TV

I have a 6mo old Phillips Roku TV. Recently, it began verbally reading (loudly) what channel I changed to and a description of what is showing. It's annoying and I don't remember it doing this previously. How do I silence "the voice" reader and still keep the sound for what program I'm watching?

If it's on the Roku main menu system, then you have enabled the accessibility options. Clicking Options four times will toggle it on/off. You can also find it in the menu system by looking for accessibility.

If it's not on the menu but in the actual content, that's the audio stream that includes that. There should be a way to change that. How depends on the app. Often it's via the Options button, but not always. Varies from app to app.
